Hi guys,

I got my amd bundle last week and played with it during weekend but I did not get pretty far in oclocking

Here is the steup

venice 3200+
asus a8n-e
512mb pc3200 crucial
6600gt
seagate sata 120gb
creative audigy 2
dvd-rw
460 eps sparkle ps

the farthest I can oclock was 2560 X 10. I was hoping at least 260 x 10

the fsb bus was 256 and multi at 10.
The ram was set at 333, resulting at 217~mhz.
It was set at 2T.
mermory vcore at 2.8v
Vcore was 1.55V.
pci bus locked at 33mhz
pci express 100mhz.

I am using thermaltake fan and with prime95 it hits about 52C.

Is there problem with oclocking with board? other seems to be hitting 2600 with little problem. One thing I noticed was that anand had problem with a8n sli board and he could not go over 256mhz in front bus.

Any ideas? I already have amd64 3200+ newcastle 754 pin running at 2400+ and I can't really tell the speed difference. I am little disappointed.

first check your psu under load 12volt line .
then what is your bios setting ?
set your ht to 3x.
try to relax a bit your mem timing or try unsing another mem devinder
just for testing you can bump your vcore to 1.6 and see if it is stable (monitor your temp) every things over 55c can domage your cpu if you are oc.
some burning may also help
i realy would suggest a 50c is the max when a venice is overclocked.
then why you are runnig 2 t the 1t setting are not working for you?
2 t is crap especially for benching...
