Does anybody know, if a celeron 1,2Ghz will work on any BX-Board? I saw news which told so and many telling the opossite.
Please help me.

PS: Did anyone ever get an abit be6 running at 133FSB or higher?

BE6@150 maxed

yeah I had my old BE6 running at 140 and 150mhz, its was hard to do, I had to try allsorts of different memory modules to get it to that speed, even then it would be unstable, I think it was because to the memory hub on the board is old?

The memory hub/northbridge on this board is old in that it's a 100Mhz chipset. Mine is table now for months at 132.44Mhz, anything higher seems to be stable but eventually locks up everytime/whatever I try. But I'm happy cuz @ 132FSB the PCI speed is exactly 33Mhz (33.11Mhz in my case). And a iBX OCed to 133 is faster than any Via board, only i815 comes close with CAS 222 RAM these days.
