hey all.
first of all, sound dampening.
my brother recently had laminate flooring put in his house, and he's got about half a roll of some quality 6mm underlay kicking about, and its really soft, and has lots of little air pockets and is quite 'squashable' and flexible. would this stuff work as sound dampening material?
also i've got a random sunbeam overclock cooler kit, which came with an 80mm duct, with some adapters to attach said duct.
would it help at all to mount the duct directly to my slk and then attach a fan at the end of the duct?
thanx all.

in my experience sound dampening does nothing but increase case temps. Get a Fan Controller and tune them to your liking
