I've found out that it might not be an IRQ conflict more like a hardware conflict. So I updated my BiOS and I put in the sound card and when it booted, it didn't go past finding the USB controller in POST

I GOt it!!, kinda i have everythingi nstalled but it takes FOREVER to get out of Post

i tryed everyone, how do i update that?

Plus why does it need to share an irq with my Video card, of all things my video card.

OK sorry, I just took a quick look at your manual and I saw a few things you may have already may have done but, Disable all ports you dont use like the 2nd serial port and the parallel port if you use a USB printer. Disable on board sound (you probably did that). onboard game port, onboard midi port... Basically all devices you don't use. Free up all resources you can. Lan, firewire... I have a few other ideas but I have to go now.
Hope this helps,
Killa

I disabled all of that, and did all of that. I think its POST finding my RAM, because right after the usb controller is my ram. Its prob just finding my RAM, maybe qucik boot was disabled somehow. i'll check soon i'm playing a game.

I have found out why my POST has been runing slow, its my USB controller. Which is disabled.. but i really need this fixed what should i dO?

Is your board actually defective? The board's USB controller has stopped working? I would try to find out if it's some kind of Windows problem by seeing if you can run Knoppix or another Linux LiveCD without problems. If that works, I would recommend re-installing Windows and seeing if that will fix it.

EDIT: I don't know what the official rules are, but if you wouldn't mind making the font size of your sig smaller I would appreciate it. :)

sorrys for that, but USB does work and all it just takes a lot time to get out of POST for it to work. I just don't want to wait is my problem, but if it can't be faster thats ok too as long as my USB works.
