AS8 or P5P800 for 530J

AS8 or P5P800 for 530J


Please help me decide which board.
Which board will be more stable in OCing.

I have already AGP card (FX5200) and two 512 mb DDR.

tough decision.

AS8 has more voltage for ram but worse vcore droop problem.

Asus is good but passive northbridge needs to be addressed and it doesn't use standard pushpins so no simple swap.

Having used both, I would have to say the nod goes to the Abit.

I would get the AS8, Great board.
