Hi guys, I have a Zalman VF700-Cu on order and I was just wondering if I actually have to remove the weird curved assembly that sits on top of the RAM on my eVGA GF 6800GT to install the VF700 and therefore have to use the tiny heatsinks it comes with? Can I just leave the black spiky thing on top of the RAM and install the VF700 on the GPU core? Will it fit, and has anybody tried it? Thanks.

I remember someone trying and saying it doesn't clear. A shame since the standard memory cooler is alot better than the piece of ***** ramsinks zalman includes.
