Scanning backs are great for product and architectural photography, but there can't be any movement in the frame.
 
That's amazing. Cnet was just running some story about the megapixel race being over, but apparently they haven't since this.
 
Yeah, it is amazing. And the technology may become commercial faster then you think. As of now they can take digital pictures with this method in 35 seconds flat, which is paltry slow as compared to our standard digital cameras, but 4X faster then original time it took. Who knows, if they get the time low enough it could even be used to take action shots. Thats is, if want ot spend $7,000 - $10,000 buying the camera: Here
