Accessing HP Recovery Partition

OK, I'm working with an HP a630n tower. Fairly typical HP box. No recovery disks, just the FAT32 partition. Restore discs were never burned, so all I have to work with is the partition.

You're supposed to hit F10 during boot up, and it'll take you into the recovery wizard. Naturally, hitting F10 doesn't work anymore. The partition is still there, it's just that F10 isn't looking in the right place anymore.

Does anyone know how to get the recovery wizard running, or how to edit the boot prompt so I can point the F10 option back to the right partition?

Just call hp and order a set of recovery disks. ~about 20$ shipped in 3 days.

Or you could call around to local tech departments. Many have backup copies and can burn off a set.
Or you could just say screw the hp software set and install windows and your own apps. The drivers for hp can always be downloaded.
