I need to build a rig capable of playing games decently, such as Call of Duty, for under $600. I'm thinking along the lines of a Sempron, a GB of RAM, and a 9800 Pro? All suggestions welcome, I don't need links -- just names. Fire away!

What components do you need exactly? Monitors, keyboards, etc will drive the price up, but if you just need mobo, proc, vc, & ram you can build a good rig for that price.

I don't need a monitor, keyboard, or mouse. I do need the full tower including case though.

This would make a good gaming computer for cheap. All the parts from Newegg except the cpu which is cheaper at ewiz.

About $40 left for the case and heatsink.

For $600, I would get two XBox360's.

1. To be modded, because you know thats too much for all the EE freaks to keep their paws off.

2. In case 1 fails.
