Someone mentioned something vaguely to me, about a hack for RAID cards (adaptec scsi cards specificly), where you could add the post-bios, pre-windows raid config(what do you call this?). I figure it would be possible, since most onboard SATA controllers use software raid, but does a mod/hack like this really exist?

This pry dont answer your question but Adaptec RAID cards have a menu that you can access between the post and windows boot already built inito it. All you have to do is push ctrl c to access it.

Yes, mine has that but does anybody know of any modded bios(s) that allow you to configure raid in there?

I only know of the mod for the Old ATA 66 and ATA 100 card to make it from just a IDE card to a RAID card.

The mod was easy but the card for RAID was pretty bad since there was a outrageously high CPU overhead and problems with DMA access.
