530w Tagan EasyCon

Is this PSU any good?

It will be eventually powering...

AMD 64 3700 San Diego S939 + Arctic fan
2GB Corsair XMS RAM 2x512mb
GF 6800GT PCI-E + HSF
200GB SATA HDD
Floppy drive
CD/RW drive
DVD/RW drive
2x 12cm case fans + fan controller
MSI AMD high-end board

Will overclock CPU + Graphics card moderatly.

Actually I think Tagan power supplies are decent, but I would suggest getting either the OCZ Powerstream 520, the Seasonic S-12 600, or the Fortron AX500 Blue Storm.

the powerstream 520 is so ridicuously expensive though.... over £100

The Fortron 500 BS is really 460w and is really cheap. Whats the catch?

would the Product Image Antec TruePower Quiet 550W PSU with Twin Fans comfortaby suit my needs becuase it looks ideal price wise.

I don't need something awesome, just someone that can power what I need comfortably or semi confortably.

Just my thoughts.
I have been running a Tagan 480W-U01 with 8 HDD's, a DVDr, 6 fans, Abit AA8XE, Intel 550 and a X600XT over a year and overclocked to 4ghz, with no worries.
So the modular Tagan 530, should be ample enough to power up your stuff.
And a FSP500, FSP550, OCZ Powerstream 520 are good choices.
I would prefer a more quiet solution, like the Seasonic S-12 600W, but thats me.

There isn't one. Fortron makes very high quality PSUs.

Funny you say that. Becuase it is essentially the same thing. OCZ rebrands Tagan/Topower PSUs

Topower makes more than one grade of supply, though. The OCZ Powerstreams are of the P6 family, which features independant regulation and has proven capable. The Modstream family, and all the Tagans I have examined, are of a lesser family that is not near the supply. In the end each and every product has its own qualities that must be learned rather than expecting them to be determined by the idenitity of the manufacturer.
