Generic Psu Causeing artifacting?

I have an Olympics PSU and it has a table on the side of it saying 320Watt MAX I also get artifacting on almost all games, apart from CS and Redfaction. Most games are un usable. But when I pop my Graphics card into my mates computer who has the same graphics card (but an AMD system) there are no problems.
The PSU came with my case and Has a
P4 2ghz
512mb Ram
40gig 7200rpm HDD
1x 120mm fan
2x 80mm fan
and a 6600GT connected to it. Could the lack of power be causeing this?
I have a crap Mobo which is 4xAGP and on board Graphics on it. Could either of these be causeing problems? And no latest drivers etc etc etc dont help. ANy one with any ideas?

I would say it's not so much the brand of your PSU, as you're not overclocking it. I'd say it's the power, 320W isnt enough to run alot of mainboards these days. I know my MoBo requires a 350W minimum. Snag a decent 500W and see what happens, worst case scenario is that you return it.

well the psu is your main problem cause its not powerfull enough if you can try to get either an Antec,Enermax,FSP Group(Fortron Source),OCZ tech,Pc Power & Cooling, and Sparkel those are the most reliabel psus you can get the min i would recommend is 450watt im running that with my rig and its barely enough for my overlcock on the vid card and the cpu i fried one psu that way lol it was scary but i say go with one of the companys i suggested and get one that has a min of 450 watt 400 will do for you but really 450 would be best i think

what about a ThermalTake 430watt? As I can get one of these at my local for about the price. Or an Icute 450watt, or an AcBell 450watt for a bit more than I want to spend

Out of those I'd go for the thermaltake. I have a thermal take psu in my PC and it runs fine
