Wow! Check out this Sempron 2600 E6!

Link at XS. Impressive, to say the least. From 1.6GHz all the way up to 2.7GHz (on water)! Thats a 1.1GHz OC! For ~$60, that thing rocks!

Well, if he opens the box and its dead, then it would be his fault because the state of the cat is determined by the observer. Then we could be all ‘n00b, you collapsed the wavefunction now! - RoadWarrior, on Schrödinger’s Cat

That is about 1GHz+ overclock. No bad for Sempron. Is it the 64bit version?

Sure is. The E6 revision is the same revision as Toledos, "Toledochesters", and SDs.

Nice overclock but needs to be tempered by the fact he is using good water cooling.

I should have added that to the original post. fixed.

Still, even for water, that is a sweet OC.

Its topping out somewhere around 2.6 and thats with me giving it 1.65V. Still playing with it in the hope I'm just missing something.

That is wrong.
E6 Venice = DH8-E6
Toledo is JH9-E6, they're different.
San Diego is SH8-E4, so has nothing to do with E6.

Nice results. Have you tried higher yet?
I'm probably going to get the S64 2800+ (1.6GHz, 256KB L2) around the end of the year. I have been expecting at least 2.4, looks like it shouldn't be too much of a problem unless I get a poor cpu.

Although they have similar basic design, the toledo is a completely different core and has its own revisions. Its not related to the E6 Venice
