Cant get Heatsink off...

Hey guys, this is a stupid question i know but i cant seem to figure out how to get the stock heatsink off !?
Its got two silver bars that go across that you can push down....but when i do it doesnt unclip.

AMD Guys here :/ first time pulling an Intel Heatsink off...

Well a picture would help...or atleast make of yur processor...


But try pushing them down and then to on side. One of the side probaly has a clip that cliped onto the socket...push it towrad that side and the clips should pop off allowing you to remove the HSF.

if its a 478 you have to push down and out, so that the clip comes off
