Athlon Mobile rubber pads.

Hello. i was doing some routine cleanup and one of the pads on my was ripped off somehow. i used some super glue and put it back on. now it does not sit as high as the other. and this mishap has caused a 10C increase in idle temps. What can i do to fix. can i buy more pads? thanks a lot!

You could always make your own . I don't know though. My 1800+ Pal I got from my friend has no pads and it works great for me. I should be worried....but i'm not.

as far as i know shims wouldnt sit high enough. they are they to... i dont really know. but i am pretty sure they dont really work at least when a pad is missing. i had one on a 2100+ with a missing pad back in the day and it wasnt very effective. I just don't want to except a 10C temperature rise. I am going to call AMD today to see if i can buy those things.
