Ok well my setup is listed below under my signiture.
but I've got £250 comming my way and I'm not sure if too get
1 XFX GeForce 6800 GT 256MB DDR3 VGA card
or
2 AMD Athlon 64 3700 Clawhammer 130nm (Socket 754) CPU

which one do you think I would benefit from most.
or any other suggestions please

I've been informed currently no matter which one i pick performance will be "bottle necked " by the one I dont upgrade is this also true?

Bar none the 6800GT, the CPU is hardly a factor for gaming compared to the video card. Upgrading from a 5200 to a 6800 is like going from a p-2 to a p4 EE

Yep, get the 6800GT. Save up some more, buy a new motherboard and you can get a better CPU too.

But the AMD Athlon 64 3700 Clawhammer 130nm (Socket 754) CPU. is about £50 cheaper on 754 than the equivelent on 939
