NewEgg RMA Question

Hey,

My friend just bought something off NewEgg.
http://www.newegg.com/OldVersion/app...-131-531&DEPA=

Under the assumption it was DDR2, but it was mislabled.
Under the quick description:

FSB: 800/533MHz
RAM: 4x DIMM Dual Channel DDR2 400/333, Max 4GB
Slots: 1x PCI-E x16, 3x PCI-E x1, 3x PCI
IDE: 2x ATA 133 up to 4 Devices
SATA/RAID: 4x SATA with RAID 0/1/0+1 JBOD
Ports: 2x PS/2, 1x LPT, 8x USB2.0(Rear 4), 1x RJ45, 1x VGA, Audio Ports
Onboard Audio: ALC861-8ch
Onboard LAN: Marvell PCI Gigabit LAN Controller
Onboard Video: Radeon X300-based. 2D/3D

And under the Detailed Description:
4 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support DDR 400/333 non-ECC memory
Dual channel memory architecture
Max capacity: 4 GB

Does he need to pay the restocking fee if it's a NewEgg mislabel?
(I took screenies w/ date & time incase NE decides to pull a fast one )

you shouldn't your friend should call them to request an RMA, and push until the waive the Restocking fee, it was neweggs mistake not yours.

We also have a newegg rep on the forums, you should PM him first, he might be able to get it done faster for you

I know I shouldn't, he's going to.

Okay, they waived the restocking fee, but still making him pay shipping. Oh well.
