What is the scale of that image? I'm not very familiar with the sizes of chinese coins.
 
How sure are you that its real? (it looks like) Its not attached to a card yet, so why does it already have the shim on it?
 
That doesn't look all that different from an R420/480, but with the process shrink it looks big enough :santa:

I so cannot wait for this chip...

Only if its delayed until Decemberish. Performance-wise, I think it'll best the 7800 for a single card, especially with the insane clocks being rumored (I think I read somewhere 600 MHz :shrug: ). What will be interesting, even though I won't be doing it, is seeing how the multi-card performance works out with nVidia having such a head start.
