Methylene Blue Anti-Algae/Fungus Additive

A friend of mine has some of this laying around for his large fish tank. Anyone heard of using this in the watercooling loop?

Hmm...too bad.

But then again, if it stains the tubing, you're probably not really going to notice it until you drain the system.

Iodine is effective in levels low enough not to stain. Why go exotic?

Maybe free now but you'd spend about $10 or so in the next 6 months to a year to replace the tube when you flush and refill the system. OTOH most people have iodine on their hand and you might be able to bum a few drops or so for free.

4GHZ_or_bust: For the record I've been running for almost 11 months and mostly 24/7 a day at these overclock without a service (not even added water). Only reason I am servicing it is cause of the coorosion, which I noticed back in March. It's stiiiiill going.

I need a solid way of preventing any growth of any kind. I never want to service the system. Hence why I want to kill anything that might grow.
