.net 1.1 install isues

I just installed it on my XP Home laptop, and when I rebooted the computer, my themes disappeared and reverted to Windows Classic (got that fixed), but more importantly, the Add/Remove doesn't function. I can open the applet via the control panel, but all the entries for all teh proggies I have installed do not have the buttons that allow you to uninstall them. On top of that, I have 3 entries for items that I know I did not install, they are 7300_help, 7300Trb, and 7400. Can anyone help with this issue? Here is a pic with one of the suspect entries highlighted. Notice how there are no buttons to modify or uninstall.

If you don't use .Net don't install it, it's buggy as hell. On a server at work it slowed everything down, when I installed the .Net SP1 it completely hosed the machine, everytime it started it would give an LSASS.exe "End point is not a recognized format".

I uninstalled it after it screwed everything up, but things are still hosed. On top of that, Google came up with nothing for those 3 entries

Why do ATi drivers requires .Net framework 1.1 does that cause trouble for ATi cards cause my mate pc's keep restarting sometimes by it's self he has no spy or ad-aware.
