Well my SATA drive sounds like wookiee, I take it that means its about to crap out?

Yes, backup now, take it out of service, download disk diagnostic from the manufactor's web site if they are required for RMA, and call up on warranty if it's still good. Chances are the motor's bearing is about to crap out if it's making loud noise.
