Should i use Omega Drivers?

I was thinking, should i use the omega drivers to get me a perf boost?

But the omega drivers look very outdated, so i dunno whether i should

try the tweeks r us drivers i like them my self and im useing the 80.40 drivers and there pretty good i think sofar i havent tried them in bf2 yet though

errr, are they the modded nvidia drivers or the extreme G ones?

I wouldn't run the old Omega drivers. There is a good chance they won't even support some of the things the card is capable of doing. If the drivers are old enough, they may not even work at all with your card.

If you are team benching, stick with WHQL approved drivers. Team scores don't count with unapproved drivers.

If you are looking for drivers to give better quality or better speed there are many modded drivers available on at www.guru3d.net . The only way to know what any of them will do is to try them. How a certain driver will perform depends alot on the hardware you are using, and the program you are using them on.

i think there the extreme g drivers i love them myself ive got the 80.40's and there darn good the only thing is theres a shadow prob with them in bf2 but it dont bug me much lol

im not team benchmarking, i just want sumfin to boost my fps in BF2 while keeping my res and quality without suffering lag, until i get my 7800 GTX

A lot of people seem to swear by them, but I've never had any luck with Omega's drivers. I remember trying them twice, once I got a lot of video stuttering in games, the second time, I got a rainbow of weird colors while playing city of heroes. That's just my experiences, though.

lol now the subject has turned to tweaks are us drivers, not omega ones, the omega ones are too outdated, so is it the extreme g ones?

i think there the xtreme g drivers lol or how ever there called but i love mine i get good fps in the game the only time i stutter is when my 2600+ xp gets too much info all at once lol
