just got my new system and was going to test out 3dmark 05 when i got a blue screen, heres what it said:

Stop 0x0000007A (0xe153fc18, 0xc000000E, 0xbf8cc6c9, 0x1b363860)
Win32k.sys address bf8cc6c9 base at bf800000 datestamp 367de698

Im running a generic 450watt psu and my first thought is a power issue because everything is brand new, my system is:

DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
Athlon 3000+ Venice
eVga 6600GT PCI-E
160gb seagate sata hdd
16x benq dvd-rw
zalman hsf 7000 something
2x512 ocz dual channel ddr

3dmark crashes shortly after starting the first demo at proxycon. All drivers are up to date and this is a fresh install, any ideas are welcome.

update

update, just tried the card on 800x600 in 3dm05 and it worked farther but then crashed again, just this time the power SHUT OFF lol, like completely off... so im pretty sure this is a power issue... anyone agree?

Yeah sounds like its a psu issue, with pci-e motherboard the psu is under more strain to pump the extra juice to the motherboard so maybe the generic psu can't cope.
