hey guys i have a d-tek waterblock
for a socket a

i found a way to mount it to my 939

will it cool well enough
or is there a spacific design

it will seat flat against the entire top of the processor it is 1/2 inch inlet
what i am asking

does it matter if i get a "939" block as opposed to a "block that will fit it"

You can try and put the stock bracket upaide down over the top of it just like I did with my maze. Just might work.

The waterblocks themselves were not designed for a specific CPU. Their mounting requirements were tailored to fit certain CPUs however. Its like the stepped base for many AMD processors. If you get get it flat mounted with the cpu touching at or very near the center of the blocks base you will be set.

Just make a new top like i did
