Think of it as an FFB1212EHE on steroids. Gives you another 30 CFM at the same 59 dBA at the cost of 2.74mm H20 Max pressure. However where as the FFB falls off rapidly when any restriction is placed on it's air flow. The GFB can maintain it's CFM output.

But you get major added bling factor.

There is no way on earth I would put 24 Volts through my fans and risk burning them out I have waited to long to get them. This thing weighs well over a pound so it is not going to hover. I will say that I have to hold it down when I turn it on or it will take off across my desk.

I trully wish I had gotton one of those fans when they where available! I am VERY happy with my tri blade deltas though they seem to hit the noise( for my wife! ) to cooling ( for me ) performance ratio right on the head. Still I fear I am suffering from fan envey!! I should start a support group!

Has anyone noticed any significant temp drops using these fans as opposed to your run of the mill 120mm fans?

With it pulling a total of 3.98 Amps. That equates out to just under 24 watts per motor. You have to use a molex.

Otherwise there is no place you could plug it in to power it. It would fry 2 MB fan header traces in a hearbeat and there isn't a fan controller on the market you can buy to hook it up to. The sunbeam controller can only handle 20 Watt per channel Max.
