I am wondering if it is possible to create an array on one raid board, then later disconnect the array, and plug it into a new adapter (different manufacturer) without losing the data.

I would think so, but I am not 100% sure. Thanks for any input

I tried it. Didn't work. Went from an Intel controller to an Nvidia controller. New controller only saw raw drives. Was never able to get them recognized by the RAID controller or WinXP.
