X800 dieing...

Hey, I got a X800XT AIW about a few weeks ago, and I was playin CSS today and the screen flickered and went black. So I restarted and looked at my card and the fan wasnt running. Now Ive had it for a few weeks and have done some several hour BF2 streaks and stuff and its been fine. I added a 160gb HD, about the same time, so I know I got enough power. Im thinkin its defective so Im going to RMA it, but I just wanna know what you guys think.

I was just wondering, do you think installing a new fan/heatsink would fix the problem? I was lookin at the zalman vf700-cu's.
