Nothing like a good review to remove any doubts as to whether this is valid. The limited evidence thus far suggests this is a great deal for the cost. I'd like to run one of these head to head with my X800XL. I have a feeling my XL would get pawned.

Wait a minute...so this 'x800GTO2' can be fully bios flashed to a x850XTPE? Will it overclock even further once flashed...?

Am I to understand then, that this could GREATLY enhance the cost-effectiveness & performance of a Crossfire setup?

It DO sound promising............... :attn:

hum... 7800GTX or this card for a nice cost effective card :santa: Well if ATI would hurry up and credit me back for my X800Pro, I would be happy

the only refurbs you can get right now from ATI are pci-express...... they cannot be unlocked.

Very true...muh bad. With that in mind, how do the asus x800 pro's flash? Havent seen much on them.

And another thing
Assuming i can find a asus 6800le, i could flash that pup to a gt/ultra
http://www.techenclave.com/forums/asus-6800le-6800gt-6107.html

If you had the choice between the two cards, which would you go for? I'm thinking the ati will win in performance but not by enuff to justify the price difference for the le but it seems to be hard to find an asus right now.

Sorry for the thread jack, im going to start a new one...
