No TV Detection with 5.9 Cats?

i upgraded to the official ATI 5.9 cat drivers (5.9 omegas wont detect either ) only to find out that it won't detect my tv. before i had the 5.8 Omega's that recognized my tv fine, nothing has been changed with how the cable is connected since.

is there something i am doing wrong or are these just faulty drivers?

the tv is connected to an aiw 9800 pro using s-video.

my install process goes as follows

1. uninstall drivers in add/remove programs
2. restart
3. drivercleaner / delete ati folder
4. restart
5. install new drivers
6. restart

bump.

Omega has 5.9 out.

What does that have to do with his problem?

Have you tried downgrading?
