Extra small laptops?

I'm looking to buy a laptop in the near future but I want a small one so it's easy to transport and hopefully has long battery life. I saw someone the other day that had the smallest laptop I've ever seen it was probably half the size of your regular 15" laptop. I was wondering if you guys know who's makes these? I have no idea what brand it was or anything.

Yeah it was the small sony ones. But these are way more expensive then the 15" ones so I might as well get one of those instead.

Dell 700M. 12.1" widescreen

or

Apple 12.1" I-Book if you prefer a Mac.

For portablity, speed, battery life, and price, the 700M is a hard machine to beat.
