holy crap, my other stick of 256 CH-5 just worked all of a sudden... Don't really know how to explain it, wanted to test it one more time before I threw it out...

Grabbed it from my neighbors (who never tested it), and stuck it in... POST!

try the other stick, doesn't work... wtf? Try reseating, works. Try both sticks, WORKS!! pwnage.

my friends theory of the ram working:

"The ram got in a fight, and they had to seperate to work together. The male ram went to his house and had some porn-filled nights, then went back home. Then they lived happily ever after."

..., okay....

My neighbor's brother threw the ram against something apparently... his mom tried cleaning it/throwing it away...
and now it works. pwnage ;)

What a concept...male and female RAM. What next...gay CPU's, trans-gender HD's....silicone enhansed MOBO's....what a thought!
