Hi guys. I recently pulled a 128mb 9800 Pro from my friend's Dell XPS and we both are wondering if it's a card with 128-bit or 256-bit card memory. The sticker on the back does not say much. But anyways, some pictures are provided below to show what it looks like (if that even helps). Thanks!

yes, that's a 9800pro on the pro pcb..... probably has an r350 core, but maybe a r360. Should overclock pretty well.

if its a 9800 pro its 256bit

side note. this isn't always the case. mine is 128bit and I have a 9800pro. It's by powercolor and clearly states its 128 bit in certian programs.

eh? then it should be a 9800se, all pros should be 256bit... thats the architecture it was designed around..

That card is 256-bit, you case tell by the "L" shape in which the memory chips are positioned. In 128-bit cards the memory comes in "I" shape (4 chips in a row)

whoa, your right! I never knew that. Mine are all next to each other, and the 256 there's like 2 on the top and 2 on the right.
Very cool, learn something new everyday. :p
