Hi, I just received the Asus Z63A today yay. However, I discovered that the ram , which I ordered, is not with the package!! eRRR

So, I'm wondering if it is possible to use DDR sodimm in the DDR slot till it gets here.

Thanks

yes I tried sticking it in there but it does not fit. Oh well just have to wait till the DDR2 gets here.

Thanks for the help guys.

^^^^ refrence to last 3 posts>>>\If it's notebook ddr 333 it will work... (BUT I THINK HE IS SAYING THAT HE HAS DESKTOP RAM WHICH DEFINATELLY WONT) If it is 200 pin DDR 333 then it more than likely will work. Intel designed the i915 chipset to use bolth ddr and ddr2 ram.... 240 pins is the desktop standard... 200 pin is the notebook standard...
