Hey all,

I just put together my brand new system and made a home made water cooling setup to cool this beast.

My system consists of :

Alienware Silver Tower W/500wtts PSU
Amd 64 mobile 3700+ Newark
Asus K8n4-E s754
Gigabyte Geforce 6600 256MB PCI-E W/SLI
A-Pacer pc3200 2X256mb
Western Digital 160GB x16MB
Lite-On x16 Dual Layer DVD burner

Water cooling for under $75.00 :

Aqarius 2 cpu block modded to fit 3/qrts or 1/half toobing $10.00 From MPC

Honda Civic automatic transmission cooler $29.00 on clearence $21.00 from Advanced Auto Parts Store

TopFin 500GPH Submersible water pump $39.00 clearenced out $20.00 from Petsmart

2 120 Vantec Thermoflow Fans $10.00 from MPC

22Ft of Clear hose $1.25 From FleetFarm

1gl. Screw sealing jug with 8 inch mouth $1.00 from dollar tree

Now I was wondering as I have my cpu overclocked to 2.8ghz if my temps are ok they average from 22c on start up and about an hour latter on full load from playing high end games they jump up to about 38C-40C is this good or bad??
By the way I have my voltage on 1.525 can I go higher on my overclock or am I at my limit??
My Voltage goes to 2.0 i think but that sounds like a bit much.

Let me know what you guys think....

Good job on your setup. Your temps are pretty good. You could try raising the voltage a little more as long as you keep your temps below 50 after running it at full load.

I Fixed my temps so they stay at 30c max but usually hover around 26-28c.

I did this by getting a bigger resovior water container.

I went from using a 1Gl. wide mouth jug to a 1ft.x1ft.x10in. "Sterilite Brand"

tupperware container found at wal-mart for $2.50-$3.00.

I can say this was a super find and I just thought I would share my finding in

case others want to find these items so they can build there own homemade

water cooling kit for on the cheap cheap...

well with that said do you think I should push for 3 or 3.2 Ghtz??
