doom 3w/64 xp pro?

I am ordering xp pro64 tomorrow and want to know if anyone knows if doom3 works yet? I tried the trial xp pro64 when it came out and no doom, but that was a while ago.

My buddy has WinXP 64 installed and I am pretty sure he has had Doom 3 running on it, but not 100% sure. He loves Doom, but hates Doom 3 so if he did play it, it wasn't for long.

Doom 3 works with x64, but you need to do a few special things to get the Ressurection of Evil ex pack to work.

Thanks for the input . I'm ordering pro64 right now cause it comes with bet soldier free at monarch for only like $142 . I hope that's a cool game.

It's medicore at best, I had a bad impression of it because it would randomly crash & installs Starforce...On a freaking demo.
