That's what I thought.
I was hoping for something that allowed a PCIe card to plung into a AGP slot.
That way, I could move up to the 7800GTX without changing my motherboard.
Just have my motherboard treat it like a high-end AGP card.
I mean, the games aren't using the 16x bandwidth anyway, right? They are barely useing the 8x bandwidth of AGP. So if the "addaptor" had to narrow the 16x down to 8x, wheres the loss?
Then later on move up to the PCIe motherboard, get another 7800GTX, and presto...........your set!
If not, where's the AGP card equal to the 7800GTX PCIe?
