since TD got sued and have started using OnRebate I have not had one rebate not come back in a timly manner <shrug> people might want to reevaluate them. Truth be told I have never had a problem with customer support or product replacement either.

I hear 10 negative things about Tiger Direct for every 1 good thing. It's the old saying that if you screw someone over they will tell 10 people about it, while someone who is satisfied will likely say little.

I returned my L90D+ with 1 bad pixel and minor backlight problems (which I've later come to accept is evident with pretty much all the L90D+ models to some extent) without any hassle at all to TigerDirect. I bought a replacement, they shipped it out, and as soon as I got it I sent back the first unit, which they promptly refunded.

Worked out nice for me since I figured they'd be more inclined to go through with the RMA since I had already bought the replacement (seeing as how 1 dead pixel usually isn't enough to warrant an RMA acceptance), and since I didn't have to send the old monitor back until the new one arrived, I got to compare them side by side (and have dual LCD's for a weekend. ).

About 6 months ago, TD had a whole bunch of these barebones rigs, based on some ABIT boards.

I know, because I am the one at ABIT's Forum, answering questions on these POS components.

They come with Ultra cases, (CRAP) Ultra memory, (again, CRAP) and Ultra PSUs. (you guessed it, CRAP!!)

Everyone posting at ABIT's Forum, swore the problem was the mobo, unfortunately, the mobo was the only good piece in there. TD was even using a bastardised, non-retail AMD Athlon, that wasn't recognised in BIOS. (I think it was a 2900+)

Steer clear! Avoid at ALL costs!
