I need some help with this one. Didn't know where to post guess this was the best one i thought of.
I have the Abit BE6-II 2.0 and tried to put on the Alpha P3125s
it rests on the memory stick, it that ok
i tried to move the stick in to the 2nd and 3rd spots but it will not boot. I took it off and put back the old one

I was thinking of of getting a file and file some of the heatsink off
it would not be very much, about 1/16 to 1/8 of a in. off

I had the same deal- the fan was pushing on the RAM, it was slightly bent in it's socket- but it worked fine for nearly 2 years like that. The board has since died but the CPU and RAM live on- no damage or anything.

hello any one there

LOL might want to wait more than 20 minutes before getting impatient!:):)
