the lesser of the two evils would have to be ultra-x connect. My vote is for neither but given the choice , my nod is towards ultra-x connect.

I think he might be talking about the original maker of the unit, whom both of these just rebadged, but he'll probably come back and explain himself and we'll know the truth then. As for me, handcrank or bicycle powered generated please! (Aspire as it's not modular).

Youngyear is the OEM for both - they're the same quality, slightly below average. I'd strongly suggest the X-Connect version 2 if you can get that one instead - it's Wintech made and slightly better quality.
