In fact, I have only seen converters that adapt low-speed SCSI to IDE, the idea being you're buying such an adapter in order to continue using your old drives. Chances are, the best you can find will limit the SCSI drive itself to 40 MB/s, which is far less than the ATA maximum.

However, if you've found U160 or U320 adapters, I'd like to take a look. :D They will still be limited by the IDE bus, though.
 
thanks guys, was just checking, i kind of knew that would be the problem but i prefer a second opinion.
