help with raid problems

well i just reinstalled windows this time on my onboard raid on the MB it worked fine the first time but now every time i try to check the speed of it its always around burst of 61 mb/s and read speed of 61 mb/s before when it worked right it was around 330 burst and 98 read i have no idea why this is happening. it did it with my raid controller from promise also. also now when i start up windows it asks me to choose what windows to start up as if ihave 2 copys installed one says Microsoft windows xp Professional other says windows(default) i only installed windows once. and none of my other harddrives have windows on it wheni try to select the one that says default on it gives me an error saying a file is missing or corrupt and to reinstall the file. any idea on whats wrong here?
