Not a Laptop but a Tablet

Nokia is releasing their Nokia 770 Linux-powered Tablet PC today for American markets. More information. Some more information.

In summary, however, this looks like a very *cool* device of Finnish engineering. I would assume that it offers handwriting recognition and all that other cool stuff that a good tablet or handheld should have.

it better come with an extremelly durable scratch proof screen (especially if I am to be poking at it to write stuff)... I never touch my lappie's screen and somehow it has a scratch in the corrner...

TFT touchpanels are designed to be "poked".
