pittsburgh area lan

I'm looking to host a small-to-reasonably-moderate lan about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh PA.

Date: Dec 3
Location: My home 16066, possibly the American Legion in 16063
Cost: undecided, probably $5-10 a person for food
Time: Most likely 4pm Saturday to 4pm Sunday, or whenever everyone craps out.

Assistance with routing equipment would be most helpful too. I can pull some stuff but not a lot.

Questions, interest?!

Some people don't deserve to have anything electronic other than a TV, and maybe a toaster, becuase they may hurt themselves and possibly someone else.

Starcraft and CS, definately. Possibly some DOD or whatever else anyone has that can be multiplayered. Q2 through Q4 also.

No prizes or anything, gotta keep it simple for now.

state college can be made in less than 3 hours. A friend did it in 2:45 at 3am...

Well I guess this would be some motivation to finally start to stock up on some good lan games

Original CS?

The thing is I don't have a vehicle here, my car is at home which is halfway between here and Harrisburg...

Hell no! 1.6 is treason, CS:S only! Dod:non-s will be allowed

If I can talk my one friend into driving to psu man (mid-state I believe) I may be able to con him into getting "someone" for a little gas.

Yeah, I'm a State College, PA.

What I was saying was:
Gaming rig is sitting without a PSU, traded with felinusz (Canada), so I'm waiting on his to get to me.

Sorry for confusion, PSU =/= PSU

EDIT: Arg... steam is being a pain, was going to buy some software... wouldn't accept my card, says it was declined because my address isn't the same!!??!! Which trust me, is the exact same as what is on my statement. Oh, well, just get my mom's card lol.

Quake 2 can run on a lot less!!! We used to lan quake 2 in on the high school computers. I believe they were pentium 3 600mhz with 64/128 MB ram. All ran at 800x600with medium settings or higher, can't remember exactly. I can't remember if they even had video cards lol.

That T-bred, 512MB, and 9600xt should run some decent games still.

Yup, you bought a PC-DL from me.

I bought it to replace my NCCH-DL but then decided to go AMD so I never used it.
