DFI SLI-DR NB cooling?


Hello,

Can someone tell me if it is possible to Wkool the DFI SLI-DR NB, u know the fan on the mobo.

Also, I would want to hook this up to the storm swiftech kit.

I need all the help I can get so please help me out.

WCed by Aquaduct 720XT with Cuplex Kryos HF (all compression fittings) filled with black UV feser. Tier 3 storage: 2x Sonnet D800 with 8Tb RAID 5 connected to bespoke R304 controller with modified inifiniband controller. Accessed by Logitech diNovo Edge and Darklaser revolution mouse. Watched through Dell 3008WFP with sound via Creative HS1100.
Notes: WCing is limited to 35% because I like a bit of silence. Seriously considering getting the optimus keyboard. OC pending.

There are no GOOD blacks as of yet. There are a couple of flow-killers (1/4" tube blocks), but nothing decent yet. I doubt we'll see any as this board's prime has passed with the introduction of the Expert and with new sockets coming. I could even handle the noise if the stock fan actually cooled well.

lunasio makes a block, with 1/2" tube connectors. It does limit flow a little but it works well and its not that limiting. Chipset stays around 32C (full load, processor with a 20% oc) on my setup with that block.

...i thought the silverprop nexus' came in 1/2"? there suppost to be the best NB block out there

oh and to answer your question, no, well at least as far as i know, because i don't know if you noticed this but your graphics card depending on what it is sits right over the NB ALMOST touching it(about a molecule above it, maaayyyyybe two ), but yeah you have the GTX which does have that problem sooo i'm thinkin not, sorry

If your worried about flow killing, cant you just put it in parallel with your other blocks?
