I still haven't volt modded.. 610/1300. ;< Anyone know the fastest 6600GT record? I must be close.

Yeah, that's THE record. Congradulations!

http://service.futuremark.com/servle.../projectsearch

Please note: unless those are Futuremark approved drivers...it's not considered valid by most people.

BTW post this in our Benchmarking Section of the forum I'm sure they'd be proud. They also have a thread saying whose got the top records...many people on the forum (and now u) have a World Record.

EDIT: OOPS I was looking @ the 05 scores

how do you figure it's the record? the orb, in all its infinite wisdom cannot discern SLI from single card so there's no way to know for sure. i certainly think/hope the world record isn't held by an aircooled card at stock volts though

a few people on this forum have gotten 600+ core but non above 1250 core. those results were all with air and no vmods

theres an old 66gt record (i searched the orb for ages) of 11000+ on a single 66gt..

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=3737031 11607, using old old drivers, but still non WHQL.. but then again, neither are rowans.. still, very nice score and clocks

I wonder why it didn't come up in the immediate search (even w/ non-approved driver search).

I would think 11,000+ is record area. I got 9182 with my 6600GT at 585/1250 and my Celeron D 3.06@3312MHZ. I just installed a P4 630 3.0 and made a stock run with stock clocks on both card and processor and got 10003. After I run the processer a few more hours I will OC it and the video card and see what I get. I am thinking 10500+. And that is using 77.77 drivers, I have found it to be the sweet spot for my card because I lose points with anything newer.

hmm. that is quite interesting that youre so close to the score of a 610/1300 6600GT on a 2.34ghz amd, when youre on a celery D and a lower clocked 6600GT.. i thought that 3dmark (by definition) had a bias towards AMD because of AMD's ability to pwn intel when it comes to 3d rendering?

Well it is published. You may look it up if you like. My username is Kpartsguru@msn.com and score with the Celeron D is 9182. I have not published my new score and I won't until I OC my new processor. That is my whole point I think he can sqeeze more out of his system. And like I said before I am guessing my new score will be 10,500+. Depending on what clocks I get out of my 630.

yes, he can sqeeze more out of his system.. one day ill go around and see him (though its a little harder now since i shifted town .. next LAN he holds ill go) and do what i do.. because last time i saw him bench, all he does is close a few apps and sets 3dmark to realtime.. he doesnt do any of the hard out stuff like stopping services, anything except critical processes, defrags etc.. good luck with your new CPU though

I am wishing ORB would discern the AGP from PCI cards, and the SLi from non. I want to work on my AGP card but I dont wanna compare it to the PCI cards OR the cards in SLi. Havent played around with 3dmark in ages, since my old ti4200 so... its great to be back???
