I really enjoyed the Painkiller demo when it came out... a while ago...

I think he gets his demos from game mags CDs. Tbh, the quickest way with the least amount of hassles. 
Have you tried CoD2 demo yet? I highly recommend it! The graphics and the gameplay are just awesome! Also Farcry is a great demo. There's some mods out for it believe it or not.
