No "msconfig"

I have just reformatted, when i try to run msconfig, I'm given an error. "Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search"

What OS? XP has it, but 2K doesn't.

Can't you download the utility? I recall I had to do that on a 2000 machine.

I've included a link to MSConfig.exe, which you can copy to the %systemroot%\System32 directory... in order that the executable be started from the Run box.

...just click on the "Windows 2000" link (the file is taken from XP).
