Here are some Linux desktop shots. They have crazy backgrounds but the desktop is Linux..not sure which version. I played around w/ Mandrake 8 for a while but I got lazy and work became too busy to dedicate the time to learning a new OS..for now.

The nice thing about Linux is that it's very customizable, especially the look of it. Once themes.org gets some themes, I'll have some fun.

I screwed up my post... Heh...

Try to find a zip with a readme in it.. Basically explains everything for most of them.. BTW back your stuff up if your shell from Litestep is messed and u load it... You wont be able to get in Windows anymore...

Yea I ran into bad shells while I forgot to backup and endedup formating...

I didn't backup my registry either :/

It's pretty easy for me to describe what Linux looks like to me. Think DOS with colors.

Or a desktop that can look however you want it too.

You could even make everything look just like it would in Windows if you want.

yah see thats simular to what litestep can do.

man i wish the game companies would make more games for linux faster so i could switch to it

i have never tried linux, i want to, but sence you guys said it is capable of looking just like windows i think i am going to dload it tonight! is there any special thing i have to do to get it looking like windows though?

i've never used linux or even saw what it looks like before. i might try it out some time when i have extra time. looks cool but i woud hate not being able to run games on it. and dual booting seems like a waste of time for me....
