I am fairly sure that I have a problem.....

Well this started just recently, whenever I leave a game, I have the following problems for about a minute or two.

When I click on any desktop icon, it brings up the properties menu.
When I click on any link in firefox or IE, it downloads the index.html
I cant type anything properly, it just opens up the menus of the windows that I have open, firefox, IE, trillian, etc.
My mouse scroll speed is greatly decreased.

Sometimes it will stop after I do ctrl alt delete. But not always. I have tried uninstalling the setpoing and itouch software for my keyboard and moue (MX1000 and Logitech Elite). I have tried disabling pretty much everything that I can think of.

I have ran adaware, spybot, trojan hunter, and AVG, to no avail.

So what is up?

ANY game or a specific one? Sounds like the game is hanging onto the mouse/keyboard settings even after you exit possibly.

When you crtl+alt+del is the game executable still running?

Any game, I have been testing. And it happens when I exit any game.

And no, the .exe is not still running. somewhat odd.

try the systray. there might be some program running in the background that is screwing up your computer.

Thats what I have running.

That program did turn up somethings, but wont let me remove them, due to it being a trial version.
