Hey guys. I am backing up my DVD's to my computer and encoding them with XviD to cut down on space. I'm using this guide:
Encoding DVDs to High Quality Movie Files with XviD and AC3
When I get to the Removing Letterbox and Fixing the Aspect Ratio part, when I try to open my .d2v file in VirtualDubMod, I get this error:
"Some warnings were issued during the previous operation:
Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'vfip'(unknown).
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this video."
Any idea on what's wrong, or what I need to install to fix this?
Thanks.
